Den engelska tidningen The Independent har låtit Bono vara chefredaktör för en dag.
Dagens nummer har en fin röd framsida med texten "No news today".
Bono, som vissa av oss andra, vill rädda världen. Göra gott. Hälften av tidningens inkomster från i dag ska doneras till kampen mot aids i Afrika.
I numret kan man läsa intervjuer med en rad olika människor. Stella McCartney har intervjuat Giorgio Armani och Bono själv Eddie Izzard. Men det är inte bara fun and games, Nigerias kvinnliga finansminister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala intervjuas och beskrivs som kvinnan som har makten att förändra Afrika.

Eddie Izzard intervjun är ganska underhållande.

"BONO: I wanted to talk to you about the European thing.

EDDIE: It's my thing. The EU is now inviting those countries who've been killing each other for centuries to join Europe. There's a sense of stability and, hopefully, peace. Belarus is the only European country that still has a dictator.

BONO: With a great moustache!

EDDIE: Yes, with a very 1950s thing going on...

BONO: He's got an actual Hitler moustache. I've seen it. Isn't it interesting that you can meet somebody and they seem plausible, but there's one thing that screams madness. And with President Lukashenko, in Belarus, it's the tache. He looks normal, then you go, "Oh, my God, he's got a mad tache, silver hair and a black Hitler tache!".

Det är så man diskuterar politik på hög nivå.

Om inte musiker som pratar politik känns lockande kan man läsa om en politiker som listar sina tio bästa låtar. USA:s utrikesminister Condoleezza Rice topp tio:

Är det någon mer än jag som tror att hon (hennes Pr-stab) kastade in U2 på listan bland alla operor, symfonier eller funk (Elton undantaget) bara för att det var Bono som stod för tidningen.
Att Elton John finns med på listan har en förklaring "It brings back memories of college, friends, my first boyfriend." Men U2 får ingen motivering. Där står bara "Founded in 1976, U2 have regularly topped the record charts since the late 1980s. The band have sold 130 million albums and had six No 1 albums in the US and nine in the UK. One of the most successful groups of all time. Rice, a big fan, is happy to listen to any of their tunes." Känns inte det som en text av en Pr-kvinna så säg.
